Short version: Daily Bible collects no personal data. There are no accounts and no ads. Your saved verses, notes and reading progress stay on your phone. The app works without an internet connection.

What stays on your phone

Your saved verses, notes, reading progress, reading plans, devotionals you have read, settings and the translation you chose. None of it leaves your phone through the app. Your phone’s own backup (iCloud) may include it, as it does for any app, so it moves with you to a new phone. Deleting the app, or Settings → Start over, deletes it.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn what to improve, the app can send short anonymous events to Aptabase, a privacy-first analytics service with servers in the EU: for example, that a chapter was read, a verse was saved, the study page was opened or the Premium page was shown. Each event carries the app version, the system, the language, the chosen Bible translation and a random session number that changes at every launch. There is no advertising ID, no device ID, no account and nothing that links events to you. The text of verses, your notes and what you search for are never sent. You can switch this off in Settings → Anonymous usage statistics.

Purchases

Premium is an optional subscription sold through Apple’s App Store. We never see your payment details. To know whether Premium is active, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history for this app from Apple, and nothing else about you.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the reading reminder and the reminder before a free trial ends are created on your phone. Nothing is sent to a server to show them.

Texts and references

The Bible texts (World English Bible, King James Version, Biblia Gdańska) are stored inside the app. Cross-references come from OpenBible.info (CC BY) and Strong’s definitions from Open Scriptures (CC BY-SA). They are bundled with the app, so reading them sends nothing anywhere.

No tracking

The app does not track you across other apps or websites and shows no ads.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date above.

Zakupy

Premium to opcjonalna subskrypcja sprzedawana przez App Store Apple. Nie widzimy Twoich danych płatniczych. Żeby wiedzieć, czy Premium jest aktywne, aplikacja korzysta z RevenueCat, który otrzymuje od Apple anonimowy identyfikator aplikacji i historię zakupów tej aplikacji, i nic więcej o Tobie.

Przypomnienia

Jeśli zezwolisz na powiadomienia, przypomnienie o czytaniu i przypomnienie przed końcem okresu próbnego powstają na Twoim telefonie. Nic nie jest wysyłane na serwer, żeby je pokazać.

Teksty Biblii (World English Bible, King James Version, Biblia Gdańska) są wbudowane w aplikację. Powiązane wersety pochodzą z OpenBible.info (CC BY), a definicje Stronga z Open Scriptures (CC BY-SA). Są częścią aplikacji, więc ich czytanie niczego nie wysyła.

Bez śledzenia

Aplikacja nie śledzi Cię w innych aplikacjach ani na stronach i nie wyświetla reklam.

Dzieci
